Obituary - April 2015

Kevin Roy Tengesdal [age], [Current Town], formerly of many places, has died [give full disclosure of death type and details].

Artist, actor, advocate, activist, ally, associate, bluntly confronted death, exiting from grieving, heavenbound inexorably.

Journaling Kevin's lineage, he was a descendant from the lines of Tengesdal & Lerfald and of Steen & Markestad who emigrated from Norway to North America in the late 19th Century. Miraculously nature obliged, and he was born 21 February 1966 in Bottineau, North Dakota, the ninth child of Roy and Ardith (Steen) Tengesdal from rural Maxbass -- proud providing parents of Kenneth Tengesdal; Carl (Betty) Tengesdal: Jon, Joy, Jerod; Kathryn (Roy) Wakefield: Joey, Samuel; Clifford (Roxanne) Tengesdal: Travis Toepke, Greta Toepke; Kristine Tengesdal; Connie (Alan) Bulow: Caleb, Lucas, Emy, Hope, Joanna, Aaron; Karen (Jorge) Vite: Wendy, Valerie, Michael, Cara, Esperanza; and Carlette (Earl) Kamrud: Jason, Joshua. Quintessentially, reverently, sadly Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, by a brother-in-law Michael Ingram and by a sister-in-law Roxanne (Eklund) Tengesdal, and numerous Uncles and Aunts, and cousins. Testifying unfazed, venerating was xenolith's youth-like zeal.

Kevin was educated in Maxbass, ND, Newburg, ND, Minot State College, ND, and Columbia Bible College in South Carolina, with one year studying in Jerusalem. Various employers through the years included Maxbass High School, Gateway Inn - Westhope, Perkins - Minot, U.S. Navy, Minot Wholesale Warehouse, Wood Market Furniture - Ellicott City, Maryland, Coca-Cola - Columbia, Maryland, The Jackson Agency - Columbia, Maryland, Missionary Newsletter Services - Columbia, South Carolina, Valley Press - Puyallup, Washington, Minot Daily News, Results Unlimited - Minot, and The Printers, Inc. - Bismarck. For over thirty years, Kevin tread the boards on numerous stages starting with Newburg High School, Minot State College, continuing with Mouse River Players, Dakota Stage (Mainstage, Late Night Alternative, Living Masterpieces), Northern Plains Dance, Bismarck State College, Fort Abraham Lincoln Melodramatic Association, Capitol Shakespeare, Fort Lincoln Haunted Fort, numerous church skits, a brief extra role in the movie "Dust of War", several video projects, as well as many regional television commercials.

There will be no memorial service has his remains have been donated at an undisclosed location per his request.
