One of my girlfriends messaged me this regarding her husband:

Just thought I'd let you know, cause I think it's cute, that [my husband] is protesting jeans day at his office because the money is given to united way, who in turn give it to the boy scouts, who in turn deny kids their eagle scout badge just because they are gay. He came up with that on his own, I didn't say anything ;-) And he also told the boy scout that came to our door yesterday he wouldn't buy anything, but that if he ever does any fundraising not affiliated with boy scouts, to come back. lol

That was a nice message to receive today, well any day it would be!
